Prof. Lester Thurow - Chairman
Thurow has been a professor of management and economics at MIT for over 30 years, beginning in 1968. He was dean of the MIT Sloan School of Management from 1987 until 1993. A 1960 graduate of Williams College, Thurow received his M.A. in 1962 on a Rhodes Scholarship at Balliol College (Oxford) and his Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University in 1964. He taught at Harvard from 1966 to 1968 after a term as a staff economist on President Lyndon Johnson's Council of Economic Advisers. In addition he writes for the general public in a number of American and international newspapers.
 
   
       
Yoram Yahav - CEO
In his position as the senior advisor to the Minister of Industry and Trade, Yahav helped found the US-Israel High Tech Commission. His area of expertise is international marketing and strategy and he has held executive positions at Fortune 500 companies in the United States. Mr. Yahav holds an MBA degree from the University of California in Los Angeles and has worked and lectured in more than fifty countries around the globe.

       
Prof. Shlomo Maital - Academic Director, Faculty

Maital is the Academic Director of TIM-Technion Institute of Management, Prof. (emeritus) Technion, and senior researcher at the S. Neaman Institute, Technion. He has been a summer Visiting Professor for 20 years in MIT Sloan School of Management's Management of Technology M.Sc. program, teaching over 1,000 R&D engineers from 40 countries. He is the author co-author or editor of eight books, including Executive Economics (The Free Press), translated into seven languages, and the recent Managing New Product Development & Innovation (Elgar, 2001). He is co-editor of a new journal, International Journal of Technology Management & Innovation Education. He has written guest editorials for Barron's, and writes regular columns for Globes (Israel's business daily) and Jerusalem Report (fortnightly). His research currently focuses on profit-driven innovation -- how to combine creativity and discipline to achieve marketplace success. 


       
Nira Adler - Programs Director

Adler previously worked with TIM as a coach and team developer. She has experience in working with executives and management teams in a multi-cultural environment. Her previous clients include Israeli hi-tech companies such as Amdocs, Verint, Microsoft, Lipman as well as venture capital companies and law firms. Adler is also a certified Enneagram teacher, bringing to TIM a method for developing top global executives and management teams. She has a M.A in Organizational Development from Alliant  University (USA) and a B.A. in political science and social work from Tel Aviv University.


        Dorit Bar - P.A to CEO and Office Manager 
Bar is TIM's office manager, Personal Assistant (P.A) to the CEO and administration staff manager. Prior to joining TIM Bar managed QLI – a company that manufactures stickers. Bar also has extensive in experience in the food industry where she worked as a P.A at Remedia, Sides and RonFood. She has an artistic side to her as well following her career in the make up artistry industry. Bar has two diplomas in make up art for theatre, cinema and TV.

       
Amalya Brill - Marketing Assistant 

Brill is the assistant to TIM's programs director and ExecuTIM's program director. She is also involved in marketing activities including; lead generation, advertising, information dissemination to graduates and more. Prior to TIM Brill worked as a P.A and office manager at Yeda Tek. She previously worked eight years in the travel industry in agencies including; Histour, Bali Nesiot and Nophesh Plus where she was responsible for planning , holiday packaging, human resources management and more.


       

Nurit Dvir - Financial Controller
Dvir is TIM's financial controller. Dvir manages budgeting, suppliers, the payroll and is the company's ATS liaison. Before joining TIM, Dvir worked as a financial controller in an importing firm. She was previously the owner of a stationary and toy shop that also sold school books. Dvir has a finance control degree from the Michlala Le Minhal, Israel.


       
Yael Varsano-Barzilay - ExecuTIM Graduates Program Director 

Varsano-Barzilay is the director of the ExecuTIM Graduate Program and co-director of the SMP program. The ExecuTIM program provides TIM Global's graduates with additional global business tools and capabilities through a number of diverse activities. Varsano-Barzilay has wide experience in working with governments. She held the position of Deputy Director of Finance Administration at the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor, leading management support programs, innovation and quality for small and medium size enterprises (SME's). Her previous experience includes a position as Trade Commissioner and Economic Consul to Canada, during which she was responsible for the economic activity of between the government of Israel and Canada, promoting bilateral trade relations, investments, and assisting companies in seeking strategic partners. She holds an MSc in organizational behavior from Tel Aviv University's Recanati Business School and a BA in political science (with honors).
