The Technion's graduates comprise the majority of Israeli-educated scientists and engineers, constituting over 70% of the country's founders and managers of high-tech industries. TIM is the executive education arm of the Technion – the Israel Institute of Technology located in Haifa. It's President is a TIM Board Member, and TIM's Academic Director is from the Technion. Due to the ingenuity of Technion alumni, Israel is now home to the greatest concentration of high-tech start up companies anywhere outside of the Silicon Valley.

The American Technion Society (ATS), is an organization based in the United States that provides support to TIM and Technion. ATS was founded in 1940, has 19 offices, and 20,000 members throughout the US.
