1. What is TIM? What does [T.I.M.] stand for?

TIM addresses their management development needs and continues to promote the Technion path of excellence. 5. What is Action Learning?

Action learning is the act of learning by doing. Then, in following days and weeks, participants apply the new concepts and ideas learned in the workshops to their own project and work.

13. How is TIM different from other academic institutions/executive programs?

TIM's programs are unlike any other programs for the following four reasons:

(a) TIM is a non-profit organization that subsidizes its programs. This means that our main "agenda" is based on the success of TIM participating companies. All TIM programs are subsidize.

(b) While other countless executives programs cater to individuals who are sent from their company, TIM programs are aimed at serving the needs of companies as a whole, through their executives. At TIM, the main client is the company.

(c) All program participants chose a project that has great implications to their personal management goals and their overall company goals. Unlike other programs where projects are choose by academics, TIM participating companies choose their project after a thorough success factors analysis.

(d) An integral part of TIM programs is the International Benchmarking Visit. TIM chooses countries that have surpassed Israel in some economic way and can provide insight into different management and thinking to be brought back to Israel.

top

17. Can I register for an MBA or Executive MBA Degree?

TIM does not offer degree programs.

top

18. How long is a TIM program?

top

19. What is the application process for a company to participate in TIM's programs?

TIM invests quite a lot in evaluating a potential program candidate. Because our aim is to help companies succeed in their market, we not only evaluate companies based on whether they are suitable for our programs, but also whether our programs will answer the needs of the company at its current stage of growth. Each program is unique and is directly correlated to the types of companies selected to participate. This means that each company's eligibility is also restricted to its added learning value to other potential candidates.
